Project Description - The NINA system provides IN functionality in an environment which provides the required
levels of reliability, salability, and real-time performance, without the tight mapping of the physical plane of the original
IN Conceptual Model. It also provides an open platform for implementing service layer functionality. These service level components
can be fully distributed as CORBA is used to provide the communication architecture.
Notification Service
- The NINA platform provides a reliable event management system capable of receiving events generated across all subsystems,
and passing them to multiple consumers. This pushing of the events generated by the suppliers to the corresponding consumer
is done by Notification Service which also takes care of the various QoS parameters.

Project Description - The Nokia Broadband IP Access solution is based on Digital Subscriber Line(DSL), Asynchronous
Transfer Mode (ATM) multiplexing and innovative IP Access technologies, and is optimised for Broadband network access.
The Nokia Broadband IP Access solution gives network service providers such as carriers and Internet Service Providers
(ISPs), the opportunity to offer a wide variety of services ranging from high volume services, such as Internet access, to
advanced tailored services, such as remote working. This can be done cost-effectively and efficiently without major modifications
to the existing network by exploiting the benefits of the Nokia Broadband solution.
